Re: Skyscraper Simulator Download Links

I am downloading this from a MacBook with the most recent software update, I clicked the correct link, however, it crashes and says "Skyscraper can't be opened because of a problem." Termination Reason:    DYLD, [0x1] Library missing is what it says. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
Hi! In order to make Skyscrapersim run on a Mac, you will need to run it from the "skyscraper" folder. I presume that you were trying to run it from the desktop and that was giving you the error.
Make sure everything that came with the download is in the "skyscraper" folder, including the program itself, and then if you try to run the game, it will know where all the libraries are, and you should be able to play it.
Hope this helps.

I did that exact thing originally, tried it again and the same problem keeps happening. Here is the full log from the crash report: Process:               skyscraper [33997]

Ah. Seems like the problem is coming from the "libSBS.dylib" library, which is where all the vital code of the Skyscrapersim engine lies. I just checked the root folder of the download link, and the library does exist, and I can run that build perfectly. Maybe try re-downloading the zip, and making doubly sure that you do have that library in the folder.
I can also see from your crash report that you are running an Apple Silicon computer. It is not yet certain if Skyscrapersim works on such computers, even though people have managed to get it working. I wouldn't give up hope yet; just keep trying things and hopefully eventually you'll get it working.

That's not an Apple Silicon computer. It has an Intel Core i5 and it says x86-64 native code.

Would it still work on that type of computer?

It also seems like that is does have that folder, but it still doesn't work, and I have been trying to figure this out for the past few days, and I still cannot figure this out.
