It got closed :( if it didn’t we would be using that forum.
I’m pretty sure what happened was the developer abandoned the project from 2018 until now-2022 and another mod decided to open a new one through createaforum so you didn’t have to pay for hosting.

The money is for buying that domain name, it's not about the original hosting or forum, they're also asking way too much for it.
