I loaded up a recent BBC-created building (IOI Boulevard) and most of the button textures are some black texture. My latest elevator tour video below shows this:

I checked a few other BBC buildings and they don't have the issue. Additionally I checked the .bld file and there's no black texture found in the building file.

I'm pretty sure it's a bug within the game itself, in case you're using the 2.1 versions onwards. On top of that, I've seen the same issue on Gooper1 SkyscraperSim's videos using 2.1.

Just look for patch builds in the Download Skyscraper Simulator section if that'd help. If my suggestion doesn't fix anything, then I highly apologize.

I'd go with KONE, simply because they've very interesting looking designs and overall it was my favorite lift company ever since. And of course the EPIC clunks when the lift arrives

Got another bot spam comment but deleted, this bothers me so much! 

That's why I have the like/dislike counter disabled. Bots were putting many dislikes on my videos.

Despite the fact the bots/kid commented on my videos but I've never got dislikes so far by these bots or whatever.

Due to many cases that I caught in private properties I will most likely avoid lift filming I those type of building maybe even public buildings and hotels as well for the next couple of days. I don't disclose this further due to privacy but still.

Yes I like lift filming but however, in Romania due to the less amount of lift filmers and the high level of crimes it is considered filming in places except malls and other public spaces could be illegal. But not that illegal if you ask the permission for it.

I'm not sure if I'm exposing myself in here, but most of the time when I find a opened private property I usually start and filming the lifts straight away cause whatever the building owner can be it doesn't matter. In Romania most blocks have doors locked, however during summer you could find ones with doors opened to give some air inside. If they are cameras and whoever is watching, I'm not sure if they do but still you could do really good videos while doing them. I know if for some of you could find this disturbing cause doing this in private property without permission could criminal offense despite the fact what I do is wrong.

And, if you come to Romania to film lifts here are some tips:

1. In the center area of Bucharest filming lifts in some private owned buildings could be a bit risky cause yes due to high crimes people question you no matter who is. In hotels in case you are sneaky then I'm not sure what to do for you, I've never got caught in hotels where i don't stay

2. Don't go inside the Piata Victoriei old building with ads on top of the building very sneaky when someone is getting out cause today I got caught by someone that it could be 95% chance to be the building owner itself, never ever do this if you are a adult and don't lie cause otherwise he will instantly call the police at any time and maybe going to prison, the only way to enter to this building as a stranger is to ask someone that lives or works here if you are allowed to film. I will never see the lifts inside this building in my due to the situation, soo annoying. Probably I will go back and try to get inside and if get caught by the same guy I will ask nicely and I will try either to do that on a other person in 1 or 2 years cause this building looks so nice.

That's pretty much it! Sorry the I expose i did but it's for the lift/elevator community to know when you come to Romania. Some tips could be false depends who friendly people are in the buildings i mentioned earlier.

Upload schedule will be 1 video every 5 days due to my current break, maybe will be a bit random.
If I will go back to lift filming It will go back what it was.

A: In a few days when it gets better and when consider that asking owner if it is good to filming in their building if i catch one.

A: If I get caught by building owner or security I will ask them if it is allowed, so i might to it someday.
