It is possible to lock this topic and later unlock it when desired. After having clicked the "Lock topic" link, it will change to "Unlock topic" so that you can always return later.

This project is no longer on hold, as I'll soon have more time to work on buildings now.

I have a new building project called the Pyramid Park complex (no connection to Skyscraper Simulator Showcase's building). The 5-tower complex will be a mixture of offices, hotels, residences, and shopping area. I'm trying to make these towers unique by

I've also made some minor changes to Line Tower, mainly some speed increases on the elevators as they were a bit slow beforehand. I'm also considering whether to add Kone Polaris destination dispatch to the office elevators. The underground parking floors will be redone to remove the overlapping texture in the elevator lobby areas.

The Lacy's Shopping Center will have fewer elevators because I wasn't sure whether to add extra elevators to the mini-shops (with at least 2 floors) in the shopping center.

Screenshots will come later once I feel that enough progress has been made, and a release eventually.

It would be nice if ENTER and CANCEL buttons were applied to the keypad inside the elevator.
In fact, some elevators have an ENTER button and a CANCEL button on the keypad.
For example, to enter Floor 24, press 2, then 4, and then press ENTER to register it immediately.
If you make a mistake, press the CANCEL button and re-enter.
That would be a good idea, such as in elevators that have destination dispatch on the outside there is an extra keypad on the inside for fire service (like serving more floors than advertised).


With 1, there's no floor with ID 7, so it falls back to the raw floor number, which ends up being the floor with ID 6 (Floor 7).

P1 brought me to the floor with ID P1, and P2 also brought me to P2, so that seems to be working.

I tried applying the Keypad to Butler Centre T1&T2 and only MTR was not input.
I experimented with the keypad and found some interesting stuff indeed, not sure if this behavior is intended or not.

1. When pressing "7" on the keypad, it takes you to floor 6 instead.
2. Pressing "P1" brings you to floor P.
3. Pressing "P2" brings you to floor 7.
4. Floors 39 up to 110 can be inputted on the keypad, though the elevator only goes as high as 38.
5. Pressing "0" (not visible on the keypad) brings you to the MTR floor.

I've reverted the change that is causing those issues, so I'll be putting out a build out very soon with that fix included.

I would like to specify that this issue isn't related to the newer builds. At the time I've made the panel for the freight car, I didn't swap the textures for most of the buttons when they are pressed (as it was very tedious and repetitive), so there's a lot of dupplicated 40s buttons.
Understood, I've done something similar for the Line Tower freight elevators although those textures are the correct ones.

I've tried applying keypad to some buildings and the problem happens like the screenshot above.
There was no problem until 7/24/25 build.
I haven't tried the other two buildings you listed yet, although I'm not sure I'll be able to reproduce the problem myself.

I just tested it and the 7/24/25 build doesn't have the errors shown in the three screenshots above.
There seems to be a small issue with the latest build.
I tested on the 8/13/25 build (not 2.0.1) and didn't have that issue. I also found this visual issue on the Sunny Bay Tower freight elevator.

Good to know about the bugfixes for most BBC buildings. However, I tried the Line Tower on the latest builds and most sounds do not play properly when they are supposed to. I tested another building of mine from 2015 and it's playing fine. Maybe it has something to do with the Line Tower bld. code? If this doesn't fit here then I'll continue this discussion over at [https://skyscrapersimulatorforum.createaforum.com/software/sound-issues-in-line-tower/]this topic[/url].

On a side note, when pressing the call button for an elevator at a floor when the doortimer is nearing its end, the timer doesn't reset for some reason.

I fixed the fire service key in that elevator, so it should look fine now.  I think the reason it didn't always show up for you sometimes is because both buttons are in the same location, so I think it depends on which one Ogre fully renders.  I also fixed the lower levels in the service elevator, it now goes down to SB.  You can download the updated version here (click on the download button on the top right on the page)

Found a minor issue where the fire service key is in the same place as the 105th floor button of the Convention Center service elevator. That floor button can't be pressed unless you press Ctrl + Alt + Click to floor 105. Ironically the fire service key doesn't even show up every time I load the building.

Another question: Are you planning on having the service elevator serve the SB and LL3-LL1 floors of the Convention Center?

Sometimes when I load Skyscrapersim on the latest build, I get an error saying this:

Oddly enough, the application reloads again after a few seconds to no issues. This only started happening a few builds ago, not sure when.

Is that only happening on 2.1, and not 2.0?  Mainly 2.1 has had a lot of changes recently, and a lot of code moves, so maybe something isn't working right.  I'll see if I can reproduce it, I haven't seen that happen yet.  Before the 2.0 release, the main menu (startscreen) was moved out to separate files, I'm not sure if it would be related to that.
This was on Version 2.1, I believe 2.0 didn't have this problem.

This project will be put on hold for a while due to personal reasons, though I will continue to update some of my existing buildings and add new ones depending on how I feel and how motivated I am during those days.

Software / Sound Issues in Line Tower

I downloaded the latest build and tested the Line Tower elevators and most of the sounds aren't working properly for whatever reason. Only by pressing the call button multiple times does it work properly, and the floor beeps don't even work.

Note that I originally posted this at the June 9 build but this only seems to have occurred between the last build of 2024 and now. I'll post a YouTube video of this if anyone needs context, and see if anyone else can reproduce this issue.

I'll check that, I did some testing last night but couldn't reproduce it.  Those sounds were having issues, which is why I added the sound enable/disable feature, what issue were they having for you?
I was playing around and found out that the sounds that were supposed to come when the elevator was called for going up or down, as well as the floor beep sound, those weren't playing properly. Some of the other sounds were only sometimes having issues. I checked and all the sounds in the affected Line Tower are enabled. I'm also still able to reproduce a simulator crash by unloading sounds too quickly for the simulator to handle.
