Extreme MEGAProjects
Welcome Back!

Skyscraper Simulator Showcase has brought many innovations to the Skyscraper Simulator project. Skyscraper Simulator Showcase Project was the first integration project to include realistic swimming pools, escalator sounds, chandeliers, palm trees, and traffic signals. Skyscraper Simulator Showcase Project also includes the tallest fully accessible building every created in Skyscrapersim. This project has been in development since Summer 2015.

Buildings Under Construction
Pyramid Plaza
Pyramid Plaza is the largest Pyramid built in Skyscrapersim offering a unique design with great amounts of space. With 60 stories and millions of square footage of space, over 50 elevators are needed for vertical transportation throughout Pyramid Plaza. Pyramid Plaza has the largest collection of Montgomery Vector Elevators of all time! Parking garages are planned for future versions along with integration into a city map. The first public version will be available by the end of September. These updates will also include new textures and a full set of Montgomery Vector fixtures and cabs.

The Palace Grand Mall

The Palace Grand Mall is the largest mall constructed in Skyscrapersim. When completed it will be over 4 million sqft. and have hundreds of stores including nine large department stores.

The Sandy Spire v4
The Sandy Spire is a largest resort built in Skyscrapersim with a convention center. There are over 4,000 hotel rooms! With 112 floors, 120 elevators, and 20 stairwells this building is monster sized! Built during the late 90s, construction of The Sandy Spire was the largest elevator order for Dover, it would also be Dover's last order and elevator installation. This building is near completion.

The Echelon Mall

The Echelon Mall (now Voorhees Town Center) is located in Voorhees, New Jersey, a suburb of Philadelphia. This particular mall is based off of a true story along with its design and blueprints. It has been created to scale in Skyscraper and aims to be the most realistic mall in Skyscrapersim. This simulation aims to recreate the mall in the state it was in during the late 1990s.

Twin Towers (Realistic)

The Twin Towers of The World Trade Center were 110 storey towers located in lower Manhattan New York, New York USA. Using an innovative tube design allowed for open floor space with the structure being supported with the perimeter walls and core columns. These towers were destroyed during the September 11th Attacks on September 11th, 2001. This project aims to recreate a realistic model of the towers in the state they were in the 1970s.

Twin Towers II

The Twin Towers II are a modernized redesign of The Twin Towers with many safety and design improvements. Starting with a solid concreate core, The Twin Towers II are much stronger than the originals. Doubling the number of stairwells and building elevators shafts of concrete further improve the design. Higher ceilings and larger windows allow for much more natural light which further modernizes the design.

Completed Buildings

The Palace Tower
The Palace Tower, built in 1973 has a huge development project, is currently the tallest building in the world at 4401 ft. Just like the World Trade Center. With 350 floors, 15 million sqft, and over 170 elevators, this is the largest and most complex building created for Skyscrapersim. The Palace Tower had an open floor plan with the columns in the core and the exoskeleton. The design is inspired by the Sears Tower but at a much larger scale. Due to the size and height of the building outer curtain walls were not possible. Also hurricanes could easily break the curtain windows. This building is based off the original version of Sky I by EG881. After 11 years, this building is now completed!

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why does The Palace Tower crashes Skyscrapersim when attempted to be loaded?
A: The Palace Tower is the most resource demanding building created for Skyscrapersim. It can use up to 6 GB of RAM. This building will crash 32-bit versions of Skyscrapersim because 32-Bit programs cannot allocate that much memory. If Skyscrapersim becomes unresponsive while loading, let it sit for a few minutes to work.

Q: Why aren't escalators appearing in the buildings?
A: ObjectPlus may not be installed. ObjectPlus is included in the latest version of escalatorgeek881's Integration Project. The latest build of Skyscrapersim is needed in order for this to work properly.

Q: Why are some elevator sounds missing?
A: These sounds were not included because I do not have permission to redistribute them. These sounds were created by BENO. He explicitly stated that his content cannot be redistributed. BENO's content can be downloaded from his website.

Q: Why are the texture errors?
A: This may have been installed improperly. This project was thoroughly tested on a clean install of Skyscrapersim with zero errors.

Q: When is the next release?
A: Announcements for new versions will made made as work on this project progresses.

*The Palace Tower is the completion of the original version on Sky I by escalatorgeek881. I have received permission from EG881 to modify and redistribute this building
**Versions June 2025 R1 and later are actively supported

Make sure that your computer meets the system requirements. Also make sure that you install this project correctly.

Milestone 1 Release

This is the first release of this new Integration Project. Both buildings in this project feature a new code base, which will significantly improve performance and workability. It's even possible to run these building on machines with only 4 GB of RAM now! This code base division improves performance without sacrificing quality or quantity of detail. Most of the unused code and textures were removed to make this project slimmer and less bloated in size. It has also been re-branded since there is more than one person working on the project now. Since this is the first version, it is only available as a full release. The following changes have been made:

Echelon Mall
- Division of code base
- Additional inline tenants
- More lighting
- Landscaping around the entire property
- Food court signage
- Improved textures and sounds
- New flooring throughout the mall
- Real flood light textures
- More accurate and detailed interiors of anchor stores
- Correction of layout in Boscov's
- Partial third floor added to JCPenney
- Partial finishing of the third floor in Strawbridge's
- Addition of stair railings
- Bug fixes

The Palace Tower
- Division of code base
- Completion of Zone 9 ballrooms and restaurant
- All mechanical levels
- The roof and observation deck
- Re-addition of east restrooms on sky lobby levels
- Addition of restrooms on most Zone 9 levels
- Improved textures and sounds
- Real flood light textures
- Replaced most of the drop ceiling with drywall in lobbies
- Reconfiguration of the lobby
- Addition of parking ramps to make the both parking garages accessible to the ground level (roads to be added later)
- Reconfiguration of Zone 8 sky lobby
- Movement of the big freight elevator
- Reconfiguration of all levels below 240 to accommodate the movement of the big freight elevator
- Removal of most unused code
- Extension of underground parking garage from five levels to ten levels
- Extension of some stairwells and elevators
- Bug fixes

THIS IS AN ENTIRELY NEW RELEASE! IT IS NOT DEPENDENT ON THE PREVIOUS VERSION OF THIS PROJECT

Today marks 51 years since The Echelon Mall has opened. Unfortunately, there isn't much to celebrate because the place is almost empty. I will soon begin working on more finer details, as well as creating different versions of this building.

State of the Project: October 7, 2021

I have decided to work on a completely new building from the ground up. This new building will be a combination of fictional and real buildings. It will be an addition to The Palace Tower. I have decided to not post any pictures of the building at this time in order to create speculation and interest.

I think the old wiki suggested you would be making some extended version of sunshine state with 680 floors but that probably was canceled as it would be impossible to load without your computer catching fire or exploding. Other things I think were planned at one point were a second identical tower and a version set in 1973 when it was supposedly completed. It seems this will be a partially fictional/partially real shopping mall in downtown Miami.

The extended version of the SST was abandoned because Skyscrapersim couldn't handle text ranges that big without crashing. It wasn't just one computer either. That experiment crashed on every computer I owned, whether it was an entry level netbook or a high-end dual processor workstation.

As for the new project, it will be a fictional mall with real anchor stores from various locations. It will utilize the divided code base from the start. At 4.3 Million Square Feet, this mall is much larger than the previous mall that I have worked on. The first release should come within the next two months. However, only three to four of the ten anchors will be open.

It will probably work. The memory here is a bigger concern than the CPU. To load this building your computer should have at least 4 GB of RAM.
