Studies & Work
« on: December 15, 2022, 09:16:51 am »
If you're still in school (whether it's high school or college), what are you studying? Do you prefer working in groups or alone? I have a few questions about the school system in your country, and I would also appreciate some extra stuff, like "what is your dream job?", etc.. Go all out, I need it! This is my mid-term project I will be making a graph out off. The longer the response, the better ;)

  • What do you think of your school (or job) and the teaching system in your country?
  • What would you change about your school if you were a teacher/principal/anyone in charge of the whole education system?
  • On a scale on 1-10, how much do (or did) you enjoy going to school?
  • Would you like to become a teacher? If so, what would you want to teach and how would you teach it? (3 classes max.)

1. I currently at a community college in the US, enrolled in a Computer Science degree. The way the students learn is that we would have to be the ones taking notes as the teachers (professors in my case) are just lecturing and in order to talk I would need to schedule to meet during their office hours. However, some students are willing to go the extra mile by setting up study groups and we take advantage of these so I can improve my grade. As for my work, I typically work alone unless there is a study group going on.

2. If I was the teacher, I would make opportunities for extra credit assignments if some people is struggling to do their work or are getting lower grades.

3. My college experience would be a 7/10. I currently drive there back and forth as I don’t live at the college.

4. I am currently not interested in becoming a teacher.

Together, we can innovate Skyscrapersim in many ways that has never been seen before. Just bring up an idea and we can implement it!
