How to construct a usable building?
« on: September 04, 2021, 12:41:20 pm »
It might be silly to say. I like pointing out I need  rewriting a ryan's simple template with two elevators. To see if you need non MRL for your project.

I personally still need finding a way to place a outside wall nicely. The front seems ok, better double check

Here is an example after few attempts. I just provided which is as close as actual construction possible.

Actual building codes: Elevators Hong Kong
https://www.bd.gov.hk/doc/en/resources/codes-and-references/code-and-design-manuals/BWLE2020e.pdf

1. Maximum allowed distance of two stops, 11 Meters. If you try looking the code I composed (), You may know where I leave a trick to identify escape door and general use door.
2. should have at least one storey for buffer
3. should have two storey for machine room while MRL doesn't need that.
4. At least one elevator can access all floors inside a building (2008 code, which is from another document)
5. Should have notification for visually impaired. (now added, just buzz for door movement)
and more...

Each elevator requires 13 storey (One buffer, two for machine room) to suit the code. I lastly add buzz just acting like train door opening or closing. Which is one of language neutral options for danger.

I add beep when passing some required stops.
