How to use Skyscrapersim Code Assistant (Archive)
« on: December 03, 2021, 03:42:02 am »
Skyscrapersim Code Assistant is a tool used to help assist and speed up the coding process. It is not a graphical building designer, it is only text-based. Before creating a new building from scratch, I strongly suggest opening other .bld files to get an idea of the the overall structure of Skyscrapersim building code. Opening the Simple building is a good start. The typical code structure of a Skycrapersim building is as follows:
  • Globals - Includes basic information about the building and camera position
  • Textures - This is where textures are loaded in
  • Floors - This is where different levels of the building are created. This is where floors, walls, and doors are created.
  • Elevators - Elevators and elevator shafts are created here
  • Stairwells -  Stairwells are created here
Also, Existing buildings can be opened in the program and additional objects can be created.

You literally copied and pasted the instructions I've written for a piece of software that is no longer available. What is the point of this?

This is only for users who have Code Assistant as I do not support the Code assistant, I'm sorry for sharing the tutorial.
