Twin Towers

This download includes a recreation of The Twin Towers from the World Trade Center in Skyscrapersim. This project has mostly been recreated to scale with all elevators and stairwells. The accuracy of the math for the stairwells and ceiling heights will be improved as this project progresses. This project is designed to be lightweight and efficient since these towers can be loaded in as little as 25 seconds. Load the WTC MASTER.bld file to load both towers. The current state of this project uses the default textures included with Skyscrapersim with the exception of the external walls. This aesthetic was designed to match existing buildings included with Skyscrapersim. Since this is a standalone project, there aren't any prerequisites to any other data downloads or integration projects. As the detail and accuracy of these buildings improve, these buildings will be merged into my integration which will include greater detail and enhanced textures. To add a button in the main menu for The Twin Towers replace the entire ;main menu buttons section with the code below in skyscraper.ini.(Optional) This project is free to be redistributed

Looking good! Does it already have the 3 main stairways with transfer floors and 99 elevators in each tower or no?

All of the stairwells and the elevators are there. The stairwell transfer hallways are incomplete.

Okay, so continuous stairwells? Or do some end on given floors according to the blueprints?

This is great, but I did find a bug. If your Y position goes below -10 (roughly the ceiling of floor SB1) in the master WTC, it switches to engine 0 and everything just disappears.

These towers are infamous for their stairwell design. The stairwells are not continuous. In fact, there are eight stairwell transfers from top to bottom for stairwell A. These stairwells were rebuilt based on the blueprints. Stairwell transfer hallways will be added in the next version.

Here's a question: Are you planning on adding the other buildings, like WTC 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7? And by the way, I think these towers are awesome already, even without those extra buildings.

I was gonna ask the same about the 5 other buildings. Also will you be adding the escalators on the lobby area and in the 2 skylobbies?

Another bug I noticed in both towers: the call buttons for the 6 local elevators that service floors 55 to 61 call the wrong row of elevators. Also didn't see call buttons for any of those elevators on their serviced floors?

It possibility, but at this time I am not making any commitments to other buildings in the complex

Escalators will be added in a later version after the math and layout accuracy are improved.
