Update: December 8, 2024
Sorry about the 1 month+ delay, I was very busy and later also feeling sick.
New stairwell added
I have just added a new stairwell to the building-within-building, which is open-air. I also added recessed lights underneath the landings to test custom stairwell lights (this will be refined later). The stairwell still needs some major kinks worked out (some of which are obvious in the screenshot), such as the interfloor cover walls z-fighting with the main interfloor walls. Additionally, I changed the external windows to be the correct type (no interfloor windows), and changed the textures for the insides of them. Here is a screenshot of my progress.

Stairwell bugs fixed and external shaft walls
In LUVI'S (the first building-within-building), I have worked out all of the kinks that the stairwell had now (the z-fighting of the interfloor cover walls has been fixed by using a Cut command). Additionally, I added an extra interfloor cover wall for that stairwell. The external shaft walls for the elevator shaft in LUVI'S have been added, and the transition ceiling has been removed inside LUVI'S, to make way for a new LUVI'S-dedicated ceiling. Next up, I will start work on the LUVI'S elevator itself. Here are some screenshots of my progress.

I have made a little bit of progress since the last update, but it so far has only been data-related, and the Carter Building itself has not changed. My next IP update post will come once I make changes to the Carter Building itself, which I do plan on doing in the near future. I have been quite busy lately, so that's why this IP has turned out to be so quiet. Additionally, my next update post will bring a redesign to the general design of the post.

Welcome to your new g-ElevIntegration
It's a new year, and it also means it is time for a redesigned forum post look! I have made the part above (date and update/notice text) look nicer, and I moved the screenshots into their own section. Also, in the Carter Building, I have cut the floor (on floor L) and ceiling (on floor 10) to prepare to add a different floor and ceiling in LUVI'S. I have also prepared the LUVI'S elevator shaft by cutting the interfloor walls above floor 5, and I have retextured all existing interfloors in the building. Next up, I will start actually adding the elevator itself.

The Big Reveal
It's time to present... the new LUVI'S elevator! It has a fictional KONE fixture line, the KDS 640. I have added the whole elevator cab, including buttons, walls, ceiling, floor, and doors. I have also added call buttons, but they are not visible in the screenshots. Note: the elevator is not fully finished yet. Next up, I will add the main flooring and ceilings, along with fully completing the elevator.
